After India, United States is also considering banning Chinese apps, including Tik Tak

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has hinted at banning other Chinese social media apps, including Tik Tak. Recently, India had banned 59 Chinese mobile phone applications, including Tik Tak, due to the security situation, which was welcomed by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. On the other hand, Tik Tak has announced to stop the app operation in Hong Kong. The move comes after Hong Kong enacted a new national security law.

According to the records of the Chinese company Byte Dance, the Tik Tak application has 26.5 million active users in the United States between the ages of 16 and 24.
