The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meeting on March 4 will decide whether to retain or remove Pakistan from the grey list. A media briefing will be held on March 4, in which the decision on keeping or removing Pakistan from the grey list will be announced.
To curb money laundering, Pakistan has already completed 26 out of 27 action plans. In October last year, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) announced that it would keep Pakistan on the gray list till February 2022. It was acknowledged that Pakistan has taken good steps to curb money laundering.
